In an age when the world grew dense with life and activity, a new layer of soil began to blanket the earth. This layer was unlike any other, composed of Discarded toys, rocks, sticks and fragments of machinery. It was as if the remnants of human civilization had woven themselves into the very fabric of the land.

Mystical forces, drawn from the convergence of nature and human creation stirred within this new layer and began to seep into the landscape. On its way down both natural and human-made remnants were infused with life. As the enchantment deepened, a wondrous transformation took place.

Objects long forgotten began to stir and merge together. They materialized into sentient beings, each one a unique amalgamation of the elements that birthed them. These beings came to be known as the Findlings.
